Our Design Process Our design process is a collaborative effort involving the exchange of information and ideas. We will design a well thought out environment utilizing low maintenance, Florida friendly plant selections, earth-friendly planting techniques, and sound follow-up care practices. Here is the step by step process of how H2eco works.
1. Initial Consultation: We will meet with you at your home to discuss your ideas and vision for your home or office landscape. We will walk around your property together and discuss your landscape design ideas, questions, concerns, plant preferences, and maintenance issues. Through our meeting we will find the best way to satisfy your landscape and/or waterfall desires. We will analyze the site and take photographs and measurements. A thorough site analysis will identify potential problems and allow us to correct such issues like erosion and drainage problems, unacceptable noise levels, or unsightly views. 2. Base Plan and Preliminary Concepts: We will create a base plan of your existing landscape from which we will develop a design that will reflect your style and needs. This design will show the major circulation routes, hardscapes such as pavers or concrete pathways, structures, trees, and planting beds. (Existing plot plans of the major property can aid in making the design process proceed more quickly.)
3. Proposal and Client Review: After our meeting, we will prepare a proposal that will detail the design objectives and each phase (if applicable) of the landscape installation project as well as an estimated cost for the completed project in full. Together we will review the preliminary design and all other aspects of the design including materials and plant recommendations. 4. Final Plan: Based on your suggestions, we will then create the final plan. The plan will include a scale drawing, a final plant list (quantities and sizes) and locations of landscape features. For hardscape elements such as terraces, decks, walkways and walls, construction notes and drawings are also provided. 5. Installation: Once the final plan is complete, we install the complete landscape plan or, if you prefer, assist you in implementing your project in phases.
